The location is perfect, right at the beach walk, along with indoor, outdoor, and rooftop seating. It is a spot for locals and visitors, as I could tell from the patrons that were sitting around me. There are a couple of televisions and the staff is really nice. They have a couple of draft beers and a decent liquor selection. Try the calamari, it comes with 3 different dipping sauces which added the already delicious appetizer. The fish and chips are food. Four fish filets on a bed of fries, along with coleslaw and fries. This place is worth a visit, and also a return visit.

Great place to eat! Large menu and food was super tasty. The location is awesome right off the beach path. Staff was friendly and quick! Gotta love that on vacation!

Hennessey’s Hermosa Beach - This place has an amazing atmosphere, great location and a local fave. The upstairs dining gives you an amazing view of the beach and pier. Our breakfast was fresh and delicious with an outstanding Bloody Mary at a very reasonable price of $7! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the restaurant and restroom were both very clean.

Cherished by both locals and visitors. This mainstay beach-vibe, irish themed grub spot has an incredible view of the strand. Smaller parties can enjoy an upstairs patio with a beautiful view the pier and beach. During holidays and large events expect a wait but it will be worth it. The crowd is awesome. Staff Rocks and the food won't disappoint 😋 Parking isn't free but plentiful. Southbay🤙

Great location great atmosphere and great views. Staff i had were polite and friendly. I had the tri tip sandwich. Great taste with the horseradish and grilled onions. Chips were good, tasted fresh and not too greasy. It was sit anywhere when I got there. Great outdoor seating. The table I chose looked set but was a bit dirty with sugar bits of paper. Overall good experience. Server was quick with food and bill came quick.

We had an excellent time at Hennessey's. Brooke was our server and she was very attentive and super patient answering all our questions. We were very impressed. Our party of 5 had the French fry sampler, a mushroom burger, 2 BBQ brisket sandwiches, fish and chips and the Prime Dip. We really liked everything. The fries were quite greasy but they tasted ok. We sat outside in the patio area which is wheelchair and dog friendly. We enjoyed the pier and walking on the Strand afterwards with our puppy. It was a perfectly lovely afternoon and we'd do it again but we wouldn't order the French fry sampler next time.

The food was great! Best grilled cheese ever. My husband loved the fish and chips. The french fries taste like they are made freshly in house. Great views of the beach and people watching. We were allowed to have our dog on the patio! Lots of TVs to watch football games and great drink menu.

What a beautiful restaurant with spectacular views! Came in on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch and was seated right away on the upper floor for those views of the beautiful blue ocean. Sarah was our server and she took excellent care of us. Cute little bar on the third floor as well as the first floor. A lot of seating choices everywhere in the restaurant. My skinny margarita was nice and cold and refreshing and made perfectly. I had to order the two timin’ Tuesday’s with the buy one burger and get one free. They’ve got some very unique delicious burgers. I enjoyed the Irishman and the Frisco burger, and they were both perfectly cooked & served medium, and with all the toppings and sauces were very satisfying and flavorful. French fries were nicely crispy, and plenty of them. Prices are average. I highly recommend this establishment. Hope to be back soon!
